I'm excited to be in my 25th year in ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÉç. My experience includes a year of 5th grade ELAR, 6th grade World History, ten years teaching 3rd grade at Bryson, and two years at Creekview teaching 8th grade Tech Apps. I was an Instructional Technology Trainer for 10 years, which allowed me to share my love of technology with teachers, administrators, and students. In July 2016, I became the Coordinator for Instructional Technology & Library/Media Services.
The Instructional Technology team includes Ricky Gode, Scott Boiles, Jeni Long, Sallee Clark, Bob Eikenberry, Jennifer Prince, and myself. We develop and present district and campus staff development opportunities throughout the year and even during the summer. This year's team has introduced video announcements (with Skype) at many of our campuses, has set up and assisted with student blogging at elementary, middle school, and high school level, and have increased the knowledge and usage of Office 365 tools for teachers AND students.

I also have the privilege of working with and supporting our district Librarians. We have implemented Librarian PLC meetings, which gives us an opportunity to work together as a group to improve our program for all students and staff. We are also excited about a new MakerKits rotation program. We have 14 kits that rotate through our elementary libraries that give students the opportunity to explore, create, and LEARN.
